100+ corporate executives consider freezing donations over laws curbing voting access
More than 100 corporate executives and leaders gathered on a Zoom call Saturday to discuss ways to combat controversial voting bills being considered in states across the country that would restrict voting access, per the Washington Post.
Why it matters: American corporations flexed their advocacy muscles earlier this month when more than 100 companies signaled their opposition to Georgia’s new voting law, inciting the wrath of GOP leaders, including former President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Driving the news: During the call, executives from “major airlines, retailers and manufacturers — plus at least one NFL owner” — discussed possibly stopping donations to politicians who support bills curbing voter access and postponing investments in states that approve the controversial measures.
Saturday’s call between company executives “shows they are not intimidated by the flack. They are not going to be cowed,” Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a Yale management professor and one of the call’s organizers, told the Post.
They always taught us as kids that government is the threat.
Yet, it’s not really the government that is the threat. It never was the government. It was always the entities that controlled that government.
The government is limited in power and scope. Those entities, the puppeteers, are not.
Which, in the case of a degenerative rule by many system, are the centralizers.

Therefore, in rule by many frameworks, there are also two options:
1. The citizens and the institutions work together to control the government [During the non-degenerative years]
OR
2. The institutions control both the citizens and the government [During the degenerative years]
The “fourth branch of government” (globalist, international corporations controlled by the elites) are more of a problem than our government ever could be. Because the government, in some capacities, will always remain accountable to us.
Them? They aren’t accountable to anything, at all. Not us, not the government, and certainly not any of the institutions that they directly or indirectly control.
While also not being accountable, they also own the government far more than we do. The government must cower before them, their lobbyists and major funders, more than us. They are the real unaccountable, unelected elite.
It’s a joke. We’re a joke. Just like the rule by many degenerative nations usually are.
Always remember: These entities, the SCMs, are the real threat.
