although the coronavirus has spread quickly, it is nowhere near as widespread as previous epidemics such as swine flu or the Spanish flu

And this meme doesn’t even capture the true hypocrisy, which includes a near 100% centralized media message against masks for the longest time. That is, until the leftists told the media that they needed masks to spread even more fear. Then it switched to 100% pro-mask or you’re killing grandma.
