There have been nomadic civilizations that turned into settled societies throughout history, even today you’ll find plenty of nomadic tribes throughout Africa and central Asia.
Not sure if the reverse ever happened before (going from settled societies to nomads), if not, then congratulations America for being history’s first!
But perhaps it’s just necessary to go full nomad before you can get back on track again.
80 years of luxury life without any real problems sure made civilizations weak, and a time of hard core struggle is just necessary, although pretty sad that you can’t afford what your parents could afford when they were your age, not just in America or the west, but worldwide.
Haha, America #1 I guess?
I sure hope we can turn it around, but it would require a period of intense struggle that I am not quite sure that my people are truly ready for. Time will tell.
