The Inside Of Planet Earth
Some of the stuff scientism conjures up is profoundly dumb.
The materialists lack any semblance of intuition.
I was reading an article regarding the earth’s core yesterday. The author was speaking about the mantle and the inner/outer core like we had direct evidence of the materials residing within the earth. He was so certain he knew it all.
So, naturally, I immediately was curious how deep we have gotten into the earth. Do we have pretty solid evidence of the cores, or the mantle?
That led me to the Kola Superdeep Borehole (KSB) from the Russians, which is the world’s longest borehole into the earth:
The Kola Superdeep Borehole is the result of a scientific drilling project of the Soviet Union in the Pechengsky District, near the Russian border with Norway, on the Kola Peninsula. The project attempted to drill as deep as possible into the Earth’s crust.
Drilling began on 24 May 1970 using the Uralmash-4E, and later the Uralmash-15000 series drilling rig, and it became the deepest manmade hole in history in 1979. The 23 centimetres (9 in) diameter boreholes were drilled by branching from a central hole. The deepest reached 12,262 metres (40,230 ft; 7.619 mi) in 1989, the deepest human-made hole on Earth, and remains so as of 2023.
True vertical depth is 7.6 miles.

The Russians didn’t even hit the mantle:
The core is thousands of miles in. We are talking about roughly 1800 miles (2900 km = ~1801 miles), if predictions are accurate (which they probably are not).
We hit 7 miles.
If you go read about the KSB, you will quickly find out that the data it provided completely revolutionized our understanding of the inner earth. Prior predictions completely flipped. Most notably, scientists drastically changed their temperature expectations and material composition of the earth.
All from… 7.6 miles.
Everything changed once we just got 7 miles in.
Yet, now, these people think they know thousands of miles down with certainty. Again. They preach it like it is a fact.
You really cannot make this stuff up.
The sheer cockiness and pridefulness of our species is astounding. We know nothing, yet our experts act like we know everything.
They can’t even get 10 miles down into the ground. Yet, at the same time, they want me to believe their predictions of what is over 1800 miles within. Even though once they got just 7 miles down, it completely changed all of their prior theories.
We do not know nearly as much as they think we do.
I said it before and I will say it often:
“Some ideas are so foolish that only an intellectual could believe them, for no ordinary man could be such a fool”.
The modern scientist demands far more faith than faith in God. God has not been wrong yet, but scientism… well, its track record is not so great.
