Modern Food: If The Labels Were Honest
Should most modern products even be called "food"? I doubt it. Share these 15 memes with your obese friend who won't stop eating the soyslop.

Food Label Memes For All
Modern food is soyslop.
The industrial revolution has created a manufacturing process that removes all the “food” in our “food”, instead creating some strange chemical detergent of ingredients that is near certainly designed to neuter or maim you.
A sizeable chunk of the modern ingredients that most Americans eat are designed in science labs and are literally designed to fatten cows for slaughter. When we’re not eating that, then we are usually eating other non-organic, non-whole food, pesticide-laden “food” that decimates our normal hormones (like lowering testosterone for men).
Then some people wonder why so many men are unmarried with no children and playing with children’s toys. Or why there are so many obese women and transgenders. Given how horrible our nutrition and medical situation is, I have the opposite question: Why aren’t there even more of them? It’s a miracle half the population is not an obese mentally-ill trans redditor yet.
Americans just can’t stop drinking the beer, eating the twinkies, and consuming the soy and seed oils.
We live in a world of all processed everything, even food. Which means we’re living in Ted Kaczynski’s Nightmare. It looks different from how he imagined it, but he wasn’t wrong per se.
Still, at least the situation produces hilarious memes. So let’s take enjoyment in that fact, at least:
While funny, these memes also speak the truth. That’s why they are good memes. Because good memes share tidbits of truth.
You will never reach your physical or mental peak when you eat this garbage. As Socrates said: “What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”
Want to fix this? Look at the labels before you buy. Avoid anything with a laundry list of ingredients. Buy (truly) organic whole foods only. Find some raw milk and drink raw eggs. Ingest grass-fed beef only and free-range (at a minimum; pasture preferred) eggs. Go local for a truly health-focused grocery store and a friendly health-conscious local farmer/rancher that is open about their practices. Filter your tap water. Avoid microplastics.
It takes time. Start small if you do not have the endurance to commit to a more radical lifestyle change. Even just reducing some of these items will benefit you.
But I prefer the elimination method for those of you who have the guts. Go hard and all in. Do everything above for just two weeks. No cheating at all. If you have to go back to the soyslop, you can. Just two weeks is all I ask. Because I know you won’t go back if you actually make it the full two weeks. No one ever does because of how drastic the change feels.
Try it. You’ll thank me later.

One step someone can easily take to improve food quality is to start buying meats from a local butcher. Most areas has a local butcher that has higher quality deli meats and also beef, pork and chicken products than you will find in the large chain grocery stores.
Agreed. Butchers are superior to any grocery store meat.
Another thing people can do is to improve their food-adjacent products. Like the things you cook with. Things like upgrading to cast iron over teflon (disgusting forever chemical) pots and pans. Or filtering your water and then re-adding in actual healthy minerals.
If you want to go even further, toss out the bad lotions/other healthcare products that you “ingest” through your skin (hardly different from eating).
The rabbit hole of correction goes deep once you start learning the true reality of the industrial revolution.
So incredibly true. Once you start cleaning up your health, you only learn more about other ways the modern world destroys your health.
Thanks for the comment, brother.
Great point. I should have included that. Thanks for the comment, Mike.
This is a good start, but I really wish you had an article that clearly laid out how to seek after healthy living for the beginner. It’s really hard to find quality info. All the mainstream stuff just says to stuff your face full of processed grains, which always makes me feel like trash. I know it’s bad, but it’s impossible to find a guide to help get started.
I do.

I recommend the first article for a beginner.
Honestly, anything that requires a food label in the first place shall be treated with suspicion.
Read carefully, those labels don’t necessarily hide the fact they’re toxic, they just wrap it around it nice sounding words like “garlic aroma” or “paprika powder” or “(whatever) oil” or “vitamin extracts” to make them sound not toxic.
Agreed. Whole foods or bust.
