Mitt Romney is a democrat
Mitt Romney cried and let his feelings guide him when voting to “convict” Trump during the impeachment trial. He was the only Republican to do so. It was clearly a partisan political clownshow and he voted like the other losers.
Now he’s back in the headlines because the loser wants to give everyone a free $1,000 “for the coronavirus issue”. You know what that is? Pure redistributional socialism. Lovely. How Republican of him.
But these weren’t the only times Mitt let his true colors show. Oh no, far from it.
He’s also been a lifelong supporter of raising the minimum wage.
Oh and Mitt loves tax hikes. He regularly votes against tax cuts or breaks for anyone, even the middle class.
Romney was also pro-abortion for the longest time. Yeah, he only switched when he started to get backlash for it.
Take a historical stroll to when he was in charge of MA and guess what? He loved gun control and voted to ban certain guns.
He also is a huge fan of massive amounts of immigration. RomCom doesn’t even care if they are illegal half the time.
So… he’s horrible on the economy, abortion, guns, and taxes. That’s 4 of the top 5 most important issues to Republicans. If Republicans knew his actual stances, they would run and hide. He’s not a far shot from Bernie and he’s definitely in lockstep with Yang Gang’s socialism.
Mitt isn’t a pariah to Republicans because he betrayed trump. Mitt is a pariah to Republicans because he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He’s been a lifelong democrat on the inside. He is just using the Republican ticket as a means to get to power in states that required him to lean red.
Like most of our modern politicians, he’s a clown. But a clown with hidden face paint.
