Let’s Go Brandon
It’s not vulgar. It’s not overly political, but has an obvious underlying political agenda. It’s great in a chant, song, and at large gatherings.
It’s family friendly, so anyone can say it or flag it, even with kids around. This is something our side often takes for granted. Opting to be “extreme” instead of something that will get even grandma’s on our side happily cheering along.
It’s also incredibly useful for the grey masses. The slogan requires people to look it up and learn about mainstream media manipulation.
Remember the origin. A journo was clearly lying directly to everyone’s faces by saying the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” instead of what they were actually chanting: Fuck Joe Biden. It’s a clear example that increases distrust in the mainstream media, even in the grey masses, when it is so blatantly obvious.
So it’s a two-for-one deal. FJB is good, but it’s only one, and it’s not family friendly. LGB can be said anywhere, hits both JB and the media, and isn’t overly political, so even the grey masses can get involved without the usual hurdle.
Great as a chant; great in a song. Absolutely no chance for distortioner manipulation.
And perhaps most importantly: It’s happy. Another thing our side so often takes for granted.
Instead of pessimism, anger, and hostility (FJB), LGB is a happy slogan.
Even though it has the exact same meaning, it has an entirely different emotional environment surrounding it. This is necessary for rhetorical victories, especially with certain demographics. But even outside of those demographics, people innately prefer happiness over anger.
There are a lot of victories with this small, minor slogan that cynical people like us on the Right don’t usually register. But I think it’s important that we start to do so. This is a victory. Enjoy it.
They are actively trying to ban and censor anything with it. TikTok knocked it off and the Bryson rap was censored off numerous platforms. LBG is a heavy hitter, whether or not the elites like it. They are doing maximum damage control with little effect. Because something like this can’t be as easily censored or stopped, because it’s both family friendly and just fun.
I think people on our side take it for granted how effective these small, but significant, things are for the grey masses. Small pieces like this are what snowball into the realization of the lies that eventually lead them to us.
Our side also mistakes the importance of small victories, constantly staying hopeful and optimistic, and being energized in a healthy, not hostile manner.
No one wants to come over to the angry guy’s camp. Hostility, cynicism, desperation, depression, and the black-pill are not attractive attributes for anyone. People do, however, want to come over to the happy, cheering, still-resisting camp.
I get it, you’re mad. We all are. Don’t let it consume you. You are worthless in this fight if you are enveloped in negative emotions. Remember the golden rule: Celebrate the small victories like big victories, and say thanks for the losses, because if you can still say thanks—then it’s not over yet.
We haven’t had one this clearly beneficial in a while. Celebrate the victory. Enjoy it. Drop the pessimism and anger, drop the worry and concern, even if only for a moment.
And say it with me: Let’s Go Brandon!
