Israel Assassinates Deputy Head Of Hamas In Drone Attack On Beirut Suburb
There are breaking reports via Lebanese state media and AFP saying that Israel has conducted a strike against a Hamas office in a Beirut suburb.

An Al-Mayadeen correspondent in the southern suburbs of Beirut has said that six people in total were killed as a result of three missiles that struck the building from a low-flying Israeli drone.
This escalatory event has sparked new fears that Iran is about to get more deeply involved, as its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah has already escalated attacks on northern Israel, and is expected to further.

Update (1215ET): Hamas has now officially confirmed the death of high-ranking political official Saleh al-Arouri. There was previous confirmation through various sources, including in Israeli media, yet the IDF has yet to take responsibility for the attack:
As both the founding commander of Hamas military wing, the Qassam Brigades, and as Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Arouri is among the highest ranking Hamas figures to have ever been assassinated by Israel. Hamas has also said two other members of the Qassam Brigades were killed in the attack.
Iran’s IRGC Suffers Single Deadliest Day In Syria As Israel Strikes Damascus Airport
In the late night hours of Thursday, Israel launched a series of new airstrikes on the Syrian capital, especially with heavy strikes targeting Damascus International Airport, which had already been hit several times in the last few months.
“Around 11:05 p.m. Thursday, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the southern region,” a source was cited in Syrian state media as saying. By Friday it emerged there had been a delegation of high-ranking Iranian officers set to arrive at the airport. Syria said it intercepted only some of the inbound projectiles.
Gulf news outlet Al-Arabiya is now reporting that the Thursday overnight attack “killed 11 members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)” according to its sources.
ISIS Claims Responsibility For Mass Casualty Suicide Bombings In Iran
Most international reports yesterday said that over 100 were killed, with still others like Fox News citing a high figure of 200 dead from the explosions that ripped through an event marking the four year anniversary since Qasem Soleimani’s death in Kerman city in the country’s south. On Thursday a revised figure is being widely reported of at least 84 people killed, more than 280 wounded. Despite state sources revising the casualty count downward, it was still among the deadliest single terror attacks in the Islamic Republic’s history.

The source additionally said that “When the Iranians want to point a finger at Israel and know it is Israel it [the accusations] come in a different tone.” But important to note is that the WSJ is quoting a “former senior official” who served in “Israeli military intelligence” to say… don’t look at Israel.
Others have remained skeptical, and highlighted the likely role of the MEK in the Kerman attack…
The Iranian outlawed Mujahadin-e Khalq (MEK) dissident group has long had support from US and European political leaders, despite having been known for a history of covert assassination campaigns targeting officials of the Islamic Republic. It’s widely believed that Israeli intelligence also utilizes MEK assassins in brazen sabotage and assassination operations, chiefly aimed at degrading Iran’s nuclear program.
However, while MEK has long been known for brazen assassinations in crowded areas, it typically employs tactics like drive-by motorcycle killings, and is not well-known for suicide bombings.
Given that now there’s been an Islamic State statement of responsibility, the West is likely to consider it a ‘closed case’, but Tehran leaders will still be suspicious, given they tend to see ISIS as ultimately a Saudi-Israeli backed project to begin with.

In just a few short days, Israel simultaneously murdered people deep into Lebanon, bombed Syrian locations hosting Iranian officers, targeted Houthi boats, further bombarded the already ethnically cleansed Gazans, and now likely had further involvement in a terrorist attack killing hundreds in Iran itself.
You’d have to be blind to not see their overall motive here. They want a broader conflict. This is not about Hamas. Even if you disagree with some of these events being linked to Israel, the trend itself is clear.
There is no justification for these two escalation events in particular (targeting internal Lebanon and Iran). Israel is trying to escalate until they retaliate.
You can’t really claim to be the defending party when you’re the one invading and attacking five fronts at the same time. It’s like the bully on the playground beating up other kids, just trying to get one of them to throw a punch back so the bully can cry self-defense.
Israel maybe—maybe—had that privilege if they stuck to the Gaza invasion (but even that is pretty sketchy).
But now, after all of these attacks? Nope. No claim to be the innocent party.
They clearly want a broader regional war with everyone, because that will force the West in. I do not understand how no one can see this. It is incredibly obvious. Even on the Dissident Right I hear talk about how this conflict is just going to stop with Gaza. Are you people nuts? Israel is a lunatic asylum state. That state is anything but rational. They will never stop.
Israel wants their greater Israel and the reduction of their enemies while America still has some fight left in it.
They already control us from the top-down, so they’ll probably get their wish.
But if we go in, everyone gets involved. Russia has been dealing with us killing their soldiers for years now through the Ukraine conflict. I am sure the Russians would love the opportunity to pay us back in turn. Equally, China would love for us to be tangled up for their own purposes with Taiwan. All of this will surely end well.
At this rate, Fakesrael will not give up until the entire world is engulfed in flames.
