Let them reap what they sow.
In fact, I encourage it. The more chaos they provoke in their bright-blue inner city havens, the better.
The riots are a minor inconvenience. However, a complete annihilation of any semblance of law and order? Now that is priceless. An excellent result for anyone politically right of Stalin.
This all started with the lie of Floyd. It’s not leaving. Might as well use it to our advantage.
The website DefundThePolice lays out the plan on how to replace cops:
As public outrage at police brutality grows, a movement to redirect public resources away from traditional policing has taken hold around the country. Now, we take a look at a few of the real-world alternatives to the police services.
This is going to be good.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
The police service is a dangerous option for people experiencing a mental health crisis—but for many, it’s the only option. By defunding the police, significant resources can be reallocated to create a new community emergency services to support the mental health needs of our vulnerable community members. Teams trained in de-escalation and who root their work in community-informed practices could provide crisis support and care.
I can’t wait to see the headlines of social workers interacting with fentanyl-enhanced individuals. It’s going to be comical.
That is, if the social workers even show up. Which is debatable.
TRAFFIC SERVICES
…police are more likely to stop Black people for supposed traffic “infractions,” when no one’s safety is at risk. What are the purpose of these stops? Oftentimes, a mere request to justify a traffic stop from a Black driver can result in the type of escalation that culminates in death, like Sandra Bland. Increasingly, police officers are using tactics like stealth cars that are difficult to identify as police vehicles in order to “catch” drivers by surprise. What is the purpose of this type of strategy? Why is a service that is meant to provide safety and security engaging in “gotcha” surprise tactics and targeting Black people. Why can’t our streets and traffic be managed and directed by civilian services instead of armed officers in uniforms?
They want to create a traffic enforcement agent with the authority equivalent to that of a mall cop.
Hm, I wonder how black criminals would respond to an attempt to be pulled over by a mall cop with no arrest authority. I’m sure this will also work out exactly as intended.
If we were to defund the police, we could use our savings toward making our streets safer, and more user friendly, expanding public transportation services and infrastructure for bicycles, pedestrians, and other methods of transportation.
Because that’s going to stop the double digit shootings every weekend in Chicago: more bikes.
VIOLENT CRIME
One common refrain in opposition to defunding the police assumes that our society will not be able to effectively respond to violent crime. But we have to remember that police do not prevent violence. In most incidents of violent crime, police are responding to a crime that has already taken place. When this happens, what we need from police is a service that will investigate the crime, and perhaps prevent such crimes from occurring in future.
Like… proactive policing? The same thing you wish to abolish?
Instead of relying on police, we could rely on investigators from other sectors to carry out investigations. Social workers, sociologists, forensic scientists, doctors, researchers, and other well-trained individuals to fulfill our needs when violent crimes take place.
These people want to send a doctor or a sociologist to a violent crime scene.
If you’re not laughing yet, you’ve completely lost your sense of humor in this clown world.
INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES
If we were to defund the police, we could create new investigative services where diverse teams of researchers and investigators, with a mix of scientific, public health and sociological expertise are able to attend to our investigative needs without the inherent anti-Blackness with which the police services approach our unsolved cases.
Don’t worry, we’re going to have a scientist figure out who robbed your house. And it’s going to be a diverse scientist, too.
BYLAW ENFORCEMENT, PARKING & MINOR SERVICES
There is no reason for police officers to attend to these services. Minor ticketed offenses and serving warrants for arrests and searches can be delivered by civilian services rather than with armed, uniformed officers.
A “minor” service like serving an arrest warrant. These people have no policing knowledge… at all.
I can’t wait for the day we have some diverse inner-city service organization try to serve an arrest warrant. It’s going to be a great day for everybody involved.
I’m sure the criminal will willingly go to jail with absolutely no complaints or issues.
And parking tickets are usually done by a parking enforcement team (non-LEO) anyway. Not exactly a cops premiere dominion.
The End Result
What’s going to happen is this:
- All democrat-majority areas will become even worse sh*tholes than they already are.
- Police will be horribly ineffective and solely reactive.
- It will incentivize criminals to relocate to cities.
- Crime will increase.
- Business will leave.
- The local economy will become weaker.
- Non-morons will leave.
Which means the following for red areas:
- We will have more availability to hire experienced police officers that were displaced from city defunding.
- Police will be able to respond more effectively and be proactive.
- It will incentivize criminals to relocate away from us.
- Crime will decrease.
- Businesses will move to us.
- The local economy will become stronger.
- Non-morons will move to us.
All the while these cities make complete fools of themselves for the entire nation to see. You can try to hide the failures of riot responses, a poor COVID response, and long-term bad economic policies. They won’t be able to hide thousands of people fleeing because of massively increased crime, a failing economy, and a rapidly declining sense of security.
All in all, it sounds like a great plan to me.
Let their cities burn.
It’ll only help us reach the Great Partition.
