Tommy Robinson, an infamous anti-child grooming activist in the United Kingdom, was arrested and jailed for filming outside of a child grooming trial. Britain has been dealing with massive amounts of child grooming scandals, mostly committed by Muslim men abusing young British girls.
They’ve also been covering up these grooming gangs, so as to not spark “public outrage”.
Tommy Robinson was at one of these trials. He was filming and making commentary on them, as he normally does. Then he was arrested and sentenced to 13 months in jail for it. On a “contempt of court charge” which is:
A criminal offense that can see people jailed for speeches or publications that create a “substantial risk that the course of justice in the proceedings in question will be seriously impeded or prejudiced”.
To translate that: a criminal offense of speaking out against massive gang rapes by a foreign-born population. Under what trumped up logic would filming and discussing a crime outside of a jail “impede” a trial?
It sure sounds a lot to me that any type of discussion revolving a trial could fall under this category. So, it means whatever the hell the overlords want it to mean.
And today they want it to mean exposing rape gangs.
Didn’t cause any harm, didn’t do any injury to anyone. Just filming. The guys that actually commit the rapes occasionally get off on lesser sentences than Tommy.
There are two other very important pieces to this story:
- The judge ordered a gag order on the press, IE: The press isn’t allowed to talk about his arrest.
- His life is at risk in this prison. Muslims regularly target non-Muslims in British prisons.
The first one is the most relatable to the freedom of speech issue in the UK.
Not only was Tommy arrested on “contempt of court” charges, which forbid him from practicing freedom of speech, because ‘muh public interest’, but then the judges even gag the press to not talk about it because ‘muh public interest’. Anything that goes against the narrative they want to spin is banned. They hide it. They want it to just disappear, as they did with Tommy by locking him up within a prison that has a lot of people that want his head.
If this is not Orwellian, I don’t know what is. It sounds eerily similar to 1984. Their women are being groomed and raped en masse, and no one can even talk about it. The one guy who does goes to prison on a bogus contempt of court charge that he got… because he was talking about it to begin with.
The second important piece about his life being at risk is even more troubling. Putting a man like him in a jail with Muslims, when he is an outspoken anti-Islamic individual, is practically equivalent to lining him up for the firing squad.
U.K. Independence Party leader and European MP Gerard Batten had this to say:
“What kind of police state have we become?”
“I am trying to recall a legal case where someone was convicted of a ‘crime’ which cannot be reported on,” he added. “Where he can be cast into prison without it being possible to report his name, offense, or place of imprisonment for fear of contempt of court.”
How this situation is any different from a play-by-play out of 1984, I don’t know. But one thing is for sure: Britain has fallen.
