The mainstream media regularly and shamelessly changes narratives to fit a political agenda that is set up for them by their donors. So I compiled a list of 18 instances of the media distorting the truth through screen-caps.
And if you stick around to the end, there’s an added article to really get the point across.
Let’s get right to it:

If that’s not enough to throw you for a loop, I don’t know what is.
But don’t think this is something new. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts on this topic, Noam Chomsky even wrote about it in Manufacturing Consent back in 1988.
This has been going on for a long time. The mainstream media is simply a strong-arm of the political establishment and the wealthy elites.

This eye-catching article was written by a prominent North Korean freedom activist back in 2012.
This activist points out the hypocrisy of the Associated Press’ viewpoints on North Korea.
Previously, they set up an exhibit to commemorate one of North Korea’s recent communist dictators.
In the Associated Press op piece, they state:
Among them are photos of the might of a harmonious whole of the leader and people, achievements made by the DPRK in different fields including politics, economy and culture under the leadership of the Party and the leader and happy life of the Korean people.
You can check out the article here: Free Korea: Irony Alert: North Korea Reveals The Truth About The Associated Press and The Human Rights Watch.
“Happy life” is an odd term for people living and dying in concentration camps and from starvation.
The activist states that it is a “propaganda piece”, and anyone with a brain would see it as such in light of recent revelations of the horrific acts occurring in North Korea to the citizens.
It goes really in depth and is truly a thought-provoking article on cultural subordination and media exploitation. I definitely recommend reading it.
