No free election could ever justifiably use these machines in their current state. Not unless they were open source, electronically traceable, and provided a verifiable receipt to each voter.
Who could have ever surmised that placing the most crucial aspect of a democratic state into the hands of unaccountable private entities could prove to be a bad idea?
It’s an absolute joke. At this point, I trust the slot machines more than the vote.
