A Chernobyl Here In The States
This is one of those stories you want to have saved for later, to reference back upon when the truth comes out and when the damage becomes more obvious.
The most wild thing about the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio is that instead of putting out the fire and stopping the chemicals from being released directly into the air and environment, the “experts” decided to conduct a “controlled” burn to “prevent a potential explosion”. They literally drilled holes into the train cars with the deadly chemicals and willingly burned the contents for a day. The smoke was entirely manufactured by the authorities in charge. Because, for some completely asinine reason, blowing poison into the air, soil, and water for who knows how many miles is the better outcome.
First, the mainstream account:
Crews release toxic chemicals from derailed tankers in Ohio
EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (AP) — Crews released toxic chemicals into the air from five derailed tanker cars that were in danger of exploding Monday and began burning it after warning residents near the Ohio-Pennsylvania state line to leave immediately or face the possibility of death.
Flames and black smoke billowed high into the sky from the derailment site late in the afternoon, about an hour after authorities said the controlled release would begin.
The slow release of vinyl chloride from five rail cars into a trough that was then ignited created a large plume above the village of East Palestine but authorities said they were closely monitoring the air quality.
“Thus far, no concerning readings have been detected,” Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said at a brief evening news conference about three hours after the venting and burning procedure began.
However, he urged Pennsylvania residents within a 2-mile (3.2 kilometer) radius of the derailment site to shelter in place and keep their doors and windows closed through the evening as a precaution in case of wind shifts.

Officials warned the controlled burn would send phosgene and hydrogen chloride into the air. Phosgene is a highly toxic gas that can cause vomiting and breathing trouble and was used as a weapon in World War I.Scott Deutsch of Norfolk Southern Railway earlier said doing this during the daytime would allow the fumes to disperse more quickly and prevent the rail cars from exploding and sending shrapnel and other debris from flying through the neighborhood.
But don’t worry. It’s totally safe to return home the next day:
Residents can return home after crews burned chemicals in derailed tanker cars
EAST PALESTINE, Ohio — Evacuated residents can safely return to the Ohio village where crews burned toxic chemicals after a train derailed five days ago near the Pennsylvania state line, East Palestine Fire Chief Keith Drabick said Wednesday.
Authorities in East Palestine had warned that burning vinyl chloride that was in five of the derailed tanker cars would send hydrogen chloride and the toxic gas phosgene into the air. They said Wednesday subsequent air monitoring hasn’t detected dangerous levels inside or outside the mile-radius evacuation zone, which stretched into Pennsylvania. Drabick said air and water samples taken Tuesday from the evacuation area show it’s now safe, and the evacuation order is lifted. He thanked state and federal officials and agencies that helped with the emergency response over the past few days.
James Justice of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said around-the-clock air monitoring has shown normal, un-concerning levels. Hundreds of data points from that “show that the air quality in the town is safe,” he said.
He reiterated that there was a robust air monitoring system in place and data from that showed nothing at a level that would be cause for health concern. Monitors did detect toxins in the air during the controlled burn at the derailment site, but other samples outside that area did not.
Yeah, trust the experts on this one for sure. Deadly carcinogens purposefully pumped into the air for a straight day? Don’t worry, the “authorities” say it’s safe to return.
This, even though we have verified accounts of pets dying and massive fish deaths in the streams surrounding the area (one such example is here, but there are plenty to be found).
The water is totally safe even though all the fish in the water are dead. The air is totally safe even though it was just pumped full of black smoke from materials that were previously used as a weapon in a prior World War.
A good recognition of the extent of the carnage can be found below through drone footage:
Fun fact: In 2021, a movie called White Noise was filmed in East Palestine, Ohio based on a book from 1985 about a train that derails and spreads extremely toxic fumes and contents. So this movie is now playing out in real life, in the same place. This world is wild.
Also, as a final recommendation, I strongly encourage you to briefly skim the following (which is also archived here):
- Megatoxins are Chernobyling Ohio – An excellent writeup on what happened and relevant info, including the chemicals themselves.
I don’t know anyone with a brain that could look at the videos and images of the disaster and then think to themselves “Nah, that seems safe”. You’d have to be either completely brainwashed, or a rational materialist, to come up with such lunacy.
This is one of those events that will be of interest in the future. The reasoning is simple:
- The state, businesses, and “authorities” attached to the story have an intrinsic interest in downplaying what happened to the fullest extent that they can. Mr. President Environment-Lover doesn’t want the deadliest American disaster ever to be under his watch, which means the EPA doesn’t, either. The same goes for the businesses involved (railroad) and authorities that determined to do a controlled burn, as they will face many massive lawsuits.
When people have an incentive to hide something, that is when we should be paying the most attention.
Maybe this was just a minor incident and I’m being hyperbolic. Or maybe this was an act of God to destroy the Pennsylvanians (downwind) for allowing Shapiro and Fetterman. We just don’t know for sure.
Either way, I highly encourage any readers in the area to get far, far away from this. It will not be safe to reside in or around this area. Consider it as the American Chernobyl region until proven otherwise.
