There is a very simple litmus test for uncovering insanity or other forms of mental illness: Just ask the individual for their position on Julius Caesar. Any answer involving “tyrant” or “evil dictator” implies the person you are speaking with is on the spectrum.
I use this tactic quite often to gauge the mental stability of the person I am interacting with. Especially online when you cannot gauge in-person character.
This meme encapsulates the method perfectly:
The Roman Republic fanboys will yell at me for this one. But hey, it works.
The more stable a person is, the more they like the Caesar Solution. The more insane or leftist they are (redundant), the more they hate the guy.
It’s just how it is. Don’t shoot the messenger until you’ve tested it out yourself.

What is the consensus about Emperor Augustus?
They are still archived around, and I add to them now and then. They are more infrequent, though.
I personally am a big supporter of Augustus. He carried on the legacy Caesar laid the framework for. But I know many who would vehemently disagree. Just my take.
