Useful Bible Verses: A Large List
Below, you will find 260 of my favorite Bible verses to meditate on.
This would make a good printout to go with your bible, or a Word doc if you keep lists electronically. It could even be used as a printout to keep by your workstation—Just alternate the particular page every day or so to keep it fresh.
You may wonder why I have created such an article and list. The reason behind it stemmed from my desire to create a list of some of the most essential Bible verses (verses relevant for my own current personal study; all scripture is important). In trying to find an already premade list, I noticed that most websites make it impossible to easily copy/paste their full list so someone could download it or print it out. There are very few solid lists with the essentials that are easy to grab. This is ridiculous, considering it is God’s word and not mans, so it should not be blocked in such a manner. So, I promised once I finished this I would release it.
Feel free to copy them all, put them in Word, and edit it however you need. Even feel free to share this list publically elsewhere with or without a linkback, I do not care.
Dually, there is also a selfish motive for sharing this list. I am hoping that other Bible readers will come to find where my list comes up short, so that I may find ways to improve it.
So, if that is you and your favorite verse is missing, add it to the comments or send me an email. I would appreciate it.
I did not use one translation. Some are NKJV, some NASB, most KJV. I did this because I prefer certain verses in certain translations.

Great list. I am actually printing it out right now. Will take a while to go through it, but I would make sure to include all the “hate evil” verses that so many modern Christians fail on to counter the imbalanced love position. See below for the top 4:
Proverbs 8:13 “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverted mouth, I hate.
Amos 5:15Hate evil, and love good, and establish justice in the gate; it may be that the Lord, the God of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.
Psalm 97:10O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Psalms 139:22 “I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.”
I will come back with the ones I add to the list and share later.
Excellent additions. Thank you for sharing them.
K,
thank you !!
I read it as whatever date it is,
then add 30 for the next verse
and so on till the end and I get a
full array of the OT and the Gospel…
Timeless…
Hope it is an annual print…
